Hello, I would like to know if this plugin can help me with my situation:

I use WooCommerce and I sell services.
I would like to manually add a file – browsing in my PC’s folders – right before marking the order as completed. Each file will be different therefore I cannot pre-set any file in WP.

    Just to make it clear:
    – The customer places an order
    – I work on the order
    – Right before marking the order as completed, I access the back end and add the file that will be send to the customer together with the notification email via AutomateWoo.

    Thank you for the assistance,
    Marco

    Hi Marco,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your requirements.

Yes, you can achieve this using the “Upload attachment in admin order” advanced feature.

Click here to review the steps to configure it.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hello Hitendra,

    thank you for the answer.

With regards to the order actions, I see I have 3 options: could you please explain what they mean? And if you have a tutorial, could you direct me to that?

1 Send order details to client

2 Send new order notification to client

    3 Regenerate download permissions

Can the clients only download the file from the order details in their account or can they receive the file as attachment (pdf) in the “completed” email notification?

Last question: I read that the plugin was closed on 26 Feb. The notification says that it is temporary. Is it really like that? Are you working on an update?

    Thanks,

    Marco

Related to your queries, for this admin attachments, the only option is to download from the email as mentioned in the document.

1 Send order details to client
ANS: This is a default feature of WooCommerce to send order details with changing the order status.

2 Send new order notification to client
ANS: This is a default feature of WooCommerce to send order details with changing the order status.

    3 Regenerate download permissions
ANS: There is no feature available to regenerate the download permission.
