Adding more than one Image | image Gallery

Hi and good Morning!

I am building an image slider for the single page and sometimes there are many images to add. Is there a way not to select every image one by one? Selecting and sorting (the page in the backend becomes very long) costs a lot of time in this case, but i think its still a “better” way than a using the nextgen gallery for example.

There is also no other way to view the insert images in the backend (like side by side and not among each other), is it?
