Hi @alhouser 🙂
I apologize for any trouble, when selecting from the Media Library – the iOS does not give you an option to select multiple images (as you would from your desktop with either shift or control key).
This is a limitation of the iOS. However, if you choose the ‘Select Files from Your Computer’ you can select multiple images from your iOS photos to upload to the gallery which in turn automatically uploads to the WP Media Library.
I’m very sorry for the confusion, hopefully that helps 🙂
Hi akyusa01,
thanks for your reply. What confuses me is that when I go directly to my media library I have a button “bulk select”. This allows me to select multiple files for deleting.
So technically there is a function that allows the selection of more than one picture without the need of any ctrl or shift key.
Why can this function not be used to add multiple images?
So it seems to me that it is not a limitation of iOS, it is just not implemented.
I know that uploading directly to the gallery works fine, but most of the times I add images to my pages and at the some point I create like a “best of” gallery and then a multiple select would be nice.

Hi 🙂
Those checkbox’s are only supplied by WordPress through the Media Library screen, when selecting files to insert into a post (or a gallery), the only bulk option you have with WordPress is using the control or shift key I’m afraid.
Does that help explain what you are seeing?
