Hi @wscott01,
do you really have WordPress 0.6.3? I hope you have another version, is that correct?
What browser do you use? I have not had any reports like this before.
Kind regards,
Jeroen Peters
I guess I’m looking at the wrong thing… WordPress Importer is Version 0.6.3
running WordPress 4.9.2
Chrome.
Maybe I installed it wrong. I will try again.
Hey @wscott01, that looks alright, WordPress 4.9.2.
If you use Chrome and you are editing and encouter an error, can you press F12 and click the tab “Console”, and upload a screenshot on https://imgur.com/ for me to see?
Kind regards,
Jeroen Peters
Thanks @wscott01,
this is pretty weird. Can you also let me know which PHP version you run? The import functionality requires at least PHP version 5.3.
Do you also have access to the error logs in your webserver?
I sent this to a co-worker who can answer this for you. I will get back to you asap.
Thanks for you help.
PHP was missing the mb-string module … that fixed it. Sorry for the trouble. and Thank you !
Hi @wscott01, no trouble at all! Actually, it’s very helpfull, becuase now I know it ánd I can put it in the Frequently Asked Questions.
I added mb_string not too long ago due to questions from people in countries that don’t use the western alphabet.
Thanks again for reaching out, only if my users do that, I can gather more knowledge about what could be going wrong in production and what I can advise people to do.
Thanks again! And if you like the plugin, would you consider writing a review?
Kind regards,
Jeroen Peters
