Adding own custom tags possible?

    I’ve seen the plugin “custom styles”which has an interface to easily create own tags with own classes and styles.

    Is this also possible with “advanced tinymce” or do i need to touch css-files there or do more advanced programming to achieve own tags+classes+styles?

    I’m not sure which plugin you’re referring to, but it is possible to define a drop-down menu in TinyMCE that would list different tags/classes combinations. That’s not very easy to set and is best done from a dedicated plugin (that has no “user settings” screen to prevent changing these by accident).
