I can’t seem to add a placeholder when choosing date as input. It does work normally when building forms from scratch but in fast secure contact it doesn’t work.

When adding a placeholder text in the Default field I get the following error message:

Default date for field1 is not correctly formatted. Format should be dd-mm-yyyy.

    Any solutions to this?

  • Hi, unfortunately at present the placeholder does not function in the date field.

    Kind regards.

There has to be some hack or workaround. What file would I have to edit if I wanted to try this myself?

I edited the file class-fscf-display.php so now I have inserted a placeholder with the datepicker. Its a bit of a hack but it works fine for me now. The error messages in back-end still appears but that is no problem for me.

That is great news for you. I am sure the plugin developer might look into this in the future.

If you don’t need any more help can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you
