Adding Pods Fields to Categories

    Hey there, I got 7 different Categories on my Website. Each category has different Fields.

    How can I add different Fields to different Categories. For example i got the Categories Home, Contact, Houseinfo etc. I want to add Pods not to every Category only to Home, how does it work?

    Hi @slinke

    It’s currently not possible to show/hide fields based on various conditionals.
    This is planned for a future version of Pods but at the moment this can only be done through coding.

    Is there a Option to Show Taxomony Fields inside a Post?

    If I add a Taxomony to a Custom Post type I only see the Pods fields inside the Taxonomy Archive.
    I want to add the Taxonomy fields inside my Post Pages.

    For example I got 3 different Hotels I added Custom Post Pages for all my 3 Hotels whit 7 Pages. Every Page needs different Pods Fields and I don’t know how to Link different Pod Fields to different Pages.

    Hi @slinke

    It sounds like you are trying to find a loophole for the original question. Assuming this is still about using/updating fields and not displaying, this is currently not possible with the UI options.
    Fields attached to taxonomies can only be edited within those terms.

    So unfortunately, if you want to edit taxonomy/term fields within your posts you’ll have to create a custom solution for this at the moment.
