Adding Read more button on amp mobile reader

Thanks for getting back to us, at reader mode you can choose some compatible themes, and they will behave differently with resume or full post:

And you can use the “customize panel” to change some settings:

If you want to change programmatically, you could create a child theme and activate as a reader theme:
