Adding roles does nothing

I got the Pro version, I installed it, and modified it so those in the Contributor role can answer tickets. Where exactly do they do that? After logging in if they go to http://www.solacebeach.com/support-tickets they just see the create ticket button.
Also, notifications are not being sent to [email protected]. Other Email from WordPress not related to wpsc send to that address fine.
I’ve tried contacting them through http://wpscsupporttickets.com/wordpress-support-ticket-plugin many times over the past 2 weeks. No replies.
