Adding shipping cost twice?

    Hi, since a few days back (when I updated the Svea checkout plugin) orders are now including the shipping cost twice, thereby showing an incorrect total price on the order.

    Is this a known problem with the current version of the Svea checkout plugin?

    Here is an order from today. Previous to the svea checkout update I never saw “Avgifter” in the order before, but now its there and its always the same (or almost the same) price as the shipping.
    I dont think the customer is charged the incorrect amount though……..its only showing incorrectly in WooCommerce and in the order confirmation emails.

    Avgifter:280,05 kr
    Frakt:280,07 kr
    Moms:1540,40 kr
    Totalsumma:7702 kr

    Betald:7702 kr2023-01-29 via Svea Checkout (Faktura)

    Hi,

    We’ve noticed this behaviour in a few instances but haven’t been able to isolate the issue. Are you using any special shipping plugin such as Table Rate Shipping or similar?

    Hi, yes I am using the WooCommerce table rate plugin.

    It has worked well previously however. Is there something in the recent Svea Checkout plugin release that has made the two incompatible?

    Im not a 100% sure about this, but the problems appear to have started with orders a week ago. which is the same time I updated the Svea checkout plugin to v2.0.2 (from v1.18.3).

    I just tried rolling back to v1.18.3 on my test-site and the problem disappears.

    So it seems to be a problem with the latest Svea checkout version!
    Should I roll back to v1.18.3 on production as well until this is fixed?

    Hi,

    If the 1.18 version is working fine I’d recommend staying on that version until we’ve resolved the issue with Table Rate Shipping. We’ll look into the compatibility with Table Rate Shipping this week so hopefully we’ll have a solution soon!

    Hi,

    We’ve made numerous of fixes regarding shipping so it’s most likely resolved even if it’s hard to guarantee it.

    If you have the possibility to test the latest update (2.4.1, released today) on a dev/staging environment I recommend doing so.
