So I’m using Mailpoet to send all automated emails from WordPress (Woocommerce). I’ve also authenticated my sender domain in Mailpoet.

However, I still need to send from my Google Workspace account, and I want to set up a SPF record for that email. Google tells me to add this record: v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all

When I do that, will the new record then create problems for the WordPress emails Mailpoet is sending, and if so, how do I fix this?

Having multiple SPF records is not usually a good thing. When you mean you still need to send from your Google Workspace account, can you explain more about that? so we understand better?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Have a great day.

If I create Google’s spf record (to help my Google Workspace email address from going to spam), will that mess up the sender domain that I’ve verified in Mailpoet (which is sending emails from the same email address, but not through Google)?

    Hi there @iamjwal,

Thanks for getting back to us!

if you’re using MailPoet Sending Service, you don’t have to point your SPF record to MailPoet so it shouldn’t create any issues.

You can, however, add DKIM records to your sender domain to improve deliverability: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/328-set-up-dkim-for-your-sender-domain

I hope this clarifies a bit, but please let us know if you have any questions!
