    Hello,

    I am using Relevanssi and love it. But I remember old times ago my Synonyms are worked but it seems they are not working now.

    The problem is in my language there are some words are very close to each other and some letters are different than in english. So I added these way:

    İ = I

    Ə = ə, e, a

     iPhone = İphone, Ayfon, Ayphone

    Is this method correct? Because on the searching example someone typing İPHONE and can’t find this product.

    Thank you.

    I and i are already the same. You can’t synonym single letters anyway; to do letter normalization, use the punctuation filter.

    Do one synonym at the time:

    iphone = ayfon
    Iphone = ayphone

    Also make sure you use the OR search, synonyms don’t work in AND search.

    Hello,

    İ and I not the same. i and I the same. İ is not i.

    l and ı also not the same. Because I is uppercase letter of i, not ı.

    İ≠i, I≠ı. I=i.

    Can I use A = B = C or A = B, C?

    Thanks.

    Ok, anyway the single letter replacements can’t and shouldn’t be done with synonyms. See https://www.relevanssi.com/user-manual/filter-hooks/relevanssi_punctuation_filter/

    The only format is A=B, you can’t do multiple synonyms at once. Every synonym needs to be separate from each other.
