Adding Text to the sildeshow

    hi,
    this is my first site and I have no programing skills. I have followed one of the blogs support related to adding text and copy meteor-slideshow.php to my responsive child theme root directory but nothing was changed. tried adding <p><?php the_title(); ?></p> to the file but still no change. tried also adding the file to the responsive theme folder and not to the child theme folder….nothing.

    help please 🙂

    Hi, there is an example of how to add a slideshow caption in the documentation.

    You should be able to get the captions added pretty easily. You just need to copy that one file to your theme, paste in that one line in the right spot, and then add that bit of CSS to your theme’s stylesheet and you should be good to go. Let me know if you run into any problems!
