for now it is not possible without changing the plugin code itself, but I am working on a new release, which implements some filters and actions, plus support for custom post types. That should solve your problem. I think it should be available next week, I will send you a message via this forum thread.

Now (v 1.2) you can add a filter to the related posts titles to add thumbnails.
Sorry for my late replay, I already update your plugin. but there’s no thumbnails option on your widget. i dig up on your code and i haven’t find code that shays “thumbnail”.

You have to make some additions to the functions.php file of your theme. I just wrote a new blog-post to explain how it works:
