Hi, I have added the code for a single button , both my code and your sample code, to a text widget area, but only the code appears.

I am using the latest version of WP and delicious genesis theme.

Should this work?

Hey Byron – by default shortcodes do not work in widget areas.

You’ll have to either use a plugin like this one http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/shortcodes-in-sidebar-widgets/

or manually add the filter to your functions.php file:

add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');
