Hi @evatb,
Happy to see you again with your questions/suggestions. 🙂
Yes, support for links, so that you can add the study materials/resources/links would be nice. We will be looking into it with priority next week.
About this (support for instructors), a lot of necessary and interesting enhancement is coming soon in next update. We have been working on this for last few weeks and we are now in testing phase. Features/enhancements like:
- instructor registration page
- instructor being able to create courses on their own
- list of students and instructors in the backend
- site owner’s (admin) ability to approve instructor application
- site owner’s (admin) ability to approve/publish instructor’s created course
- and similar related features
are coming in the next updates. Simply put, with this update you can ask your instructors to create course on their own and they will be shown as the instructor for their individual courses.
We still haven’t thought of admin’s ability to change instructor for courses, but this also seems to be necessary, so, we will be thinking on it as well in coming updates.
Like always, you are welcome to provide your suggestions if any.
Thanks.

Hi,
The new version 1.3.0 now supports URL or links in the lesson description if you need to add it.
Also, in this version a lot of features and stuffs have been added related to Instructor. However, the option to change the Instructor is still not present which we plan to add within next couple of updates.
Thanks.

Hi @evatb,
Hope you are doing all good.
I would like to notify that, in the latest version 1.3.2 that we released today, we have added the option to change the instructor for a course. So, here’s what you need to do.
- Login to your site as administrator.
- Go to Masteriyo -> Courses and open up any course you want to.
- Then go to Settings -> General.
- There you will see an option to change the instructor right at the top.
- Once you change the instructor, please save the changes.
That’s it. Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Marking as resolved, you can always create a new support thread if you need to.
Thanks.
