Additional features on Facebook feed fields

Hi,

I would like to add new additional features as provided by facebook docuemntation. It seems there is the possibility to pass a sort of array additional_features[0], additional_features[1] as separated fields but I don’t see these fields on the list and I cannot add a new custom field cause it is possible to use only characters.

This feature allows me to have the characteristic of the product visible on instagram catalog.

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

It’s already possible to add the “addition_features” field to your feed on the field mapping section of our plugin. See: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k2koh4oh4en74ah/additional_features.png?dl=0

According to Facebook’s requirements you do not add an array to this field but a list of strings. See: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/commerce-platform/catalog/categories/cloth-access#add-cloth-access

So for example:
'Personalized', 'Vintage'.

So you’d need to make sure you have a attribute where these values are saved as above so you can map that attribute to the g:additional_features field.

Hi support,

It seems that this field is visible on instagram catalog, so would like to have some characteristics not provided by Facebook for watches, such as kit:box and paper and year of production.

Is there any way to “compose” multiple field values (maybe using some rules)? Or maybe if I have the above info on fb catalog I can create a new field appending multiple strings?

Hi,

The free version of our plugin, unfortunately, does not have such a data manipulation feature.
