I know a little php. Could you guide me on an edit to make it have a limit of 20 jokers instead of one?
Most of the changes must be done in the Football_Pool_Matches class and the Football_Pool_Pool class.
Also make sure you change the ‘enable jokers’ option or ignore the number it stores (1) as the maximum.

So where is the enable jokers option? if I change that to a higher number, will it let us have more jokers overall? or do I still need to change other things. THANKS
The option is saved in the plugin options admin. All options go into one serialized array in the wp_options table.
But changing that value to a higher number is not all. If it were that simple, I would’ve included the feature myself 🙂
There is code that checks if a user didn’t already store 1 joker. Both in the javascript and in the php code. Those checks were not written to be able to handle more than 1 joker.
If you only have one prediction form, you can keep this fairly simple, I think. But because the plugin can potentially have multiple forms on one page/post, making a more generic solution will be a bit harder and that definitely needs more testing.
I see. hmmm. I will have to do my struggle until I find solution to this.
We have one large form for the whole season. So I think the script that checks if there was already a joker used will block my attempts.

I would be interested in additional jokers as well. I have setup a pool for this season eredivisie and would like to have a joker per Round, which I defined in match_type (total of 34 rounds).
