Hi @anzgar,
Could you please clarify what you mean by a “block-based cart”?
It would be helpful if you could share a few screenshots of the option or interface you’re referring to. That way, I can better understand and assist you correctly.

At some point woocommerce introduced a new cart block (for the block editor, gutenberg).
You can check on my site, that is better than screenshots. At deinstern24.de/warenkorb there is the old cart. At deinstern24.de/warenkorb2 there is the new cart. And on the new one, the link from the edit cart addon is not showing. And I am trying to find a way to add it there, because the old cart looks a little outdated.
You need to add a product to the cart first of course.
Hi @anzgar,
Thank you for the clarification.
Currently, the cart edit feature isn’t compatible with the block-based cart. This enhancement isn’t on our roadmap at the moment. I’ve shared your feedback with our development team, but I can’t say if or when this will be implemented.

I understand that.
But is there an easy way to create that link manually?
All I need is a way to create the link, I can then figure out a way to insert it into the block-based cart. Is there a function/method that I can use to create that link?
Hi @anzgar,
Creating a manual “Edit Cart” link for the block-based cart isn’t straightforward, as it would require custom development for updating the cart correctly. I’ve noted your interest, and we’ll keep this in mind as we continue improving compatibility.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!

Hello, I wrote my own custom code now.
Was a bit if a hassle, but is working now. 😀
Hi @anzgar,
Glad to hear you got it working.
Have a great day!
