adds 7 queries?

    first thank you for the plugin! it’s awesome!
    just 1 question i have is:
    – Using Query monitor, i have 10 queries made from “Core” which i presume is the core wp, after adding the plugin and adding 4 fonts: Roboto regular, Montserrat Regular, Open Sans – Regular + 700; The core db queries increase from 10 to 17 or 18 (so an increase of 7-8).
    The question: Is this normal? and is it possible to reduce those somehow?

    If you’re using the Web Font Loader-option, yes it does add queries to the frontend of your blog. This is done to generate the javascript-snippet.

    However, I agree I could reduce it to one query using a left join, or something in that direction.

    Note: My post above was with web font loader off, i didn’t try with it on. I’ll try with it on and post it here as well.
    Really love your plugin!

    It uses 5 queries with the web-font loader on.

    Hi @domonem,

    Just wanted to let you know that in the latest release the no. of queries when using Web Font Loader is reduced to 1!

    When Web Font Loader is turned off, it should use any queries. So that’s a bit strange.
