adjust view to grid

I would like to know how I change te view from list to grid and the option to switch

In the readme file it is mentioned that it is possible but not how to do it (maybe I am reading not well…?)

Please assist
[advert_list] gives a list…but how do I set it to grid, or to switch_views ?
