• Somehow all of my coding is one massive on going block of text with no line breaks or anything, so this is pretty tricky,

but i’m trying to make the gaps at the top and bottom of each post summary on the main page of my site the same.

the site’s http://www.rapnews.co.uk and i want the amount of space between the lines either side of my post summaries to be the same.

anyone got a quick solution on this? what should i be editing and what tags etc should i look through in the mess of code on it?

thanks in advance for your help.

  • depending on your theme, you’ll just need to adjust margin/padding (top or bottom) settings for either the post or entry classes, it actually doesn’t look so bad the way it is in either IE or FF.

BTW, which translation plugin are you using ?

thanks for the help. translation plugin…um.. ‘Translator 1.0’

so i should just leave the margins as it is?

    cheers.

i think it looks OK. your theme has some padding or margins built in to the top or bottom of either the .entry or .post class in style.css which is causing the extra bit of space between the ‘post’ and the ‘line’. it’s easy enough to adjust if you want to but as I mentioned, I think it looks pretty good as is, if I have some time later I’ll load your css up in topstyle and let you know what needs changing in order to center things.
