You can either use a plugin like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/user-role-editor/ to allow editors to edit / add stores.
Or instead of an ‘Editor’ role, assign the ‘Store Locator Manager’ role to the user. You can do this under Users -> All Users, edit the user you want to change and assign the new role.
Thanks Tijmen 🙂 How do I know exactly what the Store Locator Manager role is? I’ve read the documentation but it doesn’t say – is it simply Editor + ability to add/edit stores? Or is it based on a lower WP role?
It’s almost the same. You can compare the editor roles with the store locator manager role. The only difference I see, and this wasn’t intentional so I will fix it a future release, is that I seem to to have left out the ‘manage_categories’.
You should be able to fix this with the user role editor plugin.
