Admin account missing

    Hi
    I have the new version of wordpress and having trouble logging on. When I go to my wp-login.php and type in my admin and password and i get this error Error: Wrong username.

    It does not seem to be injecting the admin account. The tables are there and my email is there. Anyone know how to help?

    Try deleting everything inside the wp-content/cache directory.

    I have tried that and I am still getting the same error messages. Error: Wrong username. There is no admin username whatsoever?

    Im having the same problem, after having database issues with my hosting providor… Im not sure what to do as I dont want to do anything that will cause me to loose all of my posts, and have no idea what my username is now!
