    Hello Jeff,

Following on from a thread I started here, is there any way to selectively disable plugins in the admin area based on user role?

Currently I am the admin, and whilst I would like a couple of plugins disabled in the backend, the majority of them I need to have active.

Now when editors or authors are logged in there is a number of redundant and unnecessary plugins that are loaded that I would like to disable.

Is this something that could easy be integrated into future releases or do you know of a way in which I could achieve the above functionality?

Keep up the good work, donation coming soon!

    Regards,
    Paul

Nope. The user roles are not loaded until after the plugins so basing the allowed plugins by role is not possible.

    Fair enough…

Is there anyway around this that you might know of?
