admin dashboard / get_avatar function

    Hello,
    After login in to my admin panel all I can see is the main navigation panel (on the left) and message:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_avatar_data() in /public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 2173

    Would appreciate any help.

    Try this: go to WordPress settings on your dashboard: Settings > Discussion and uncheck “Show Avatars”.

    Thank you for your reply, but it doesn’t work.
    I can’t access any item on main navigation – clicking on it gives the same result as described above (empty right side of panel with message about error).

    Following advice on other threads I uploaded again all files except wp-config and wp-content directory. Now, everything seems to be fine.
