• Hi,

    I run a couple of websites on a GoDaddy Deluxe plan. But since three months everything has become super slow. My dashboard is slow and even my site has become slow. I deactivated all plugins that are not a MUST but still everything is slow. I cannot even work on my sites properly.

    The two sites are:

    https://www.kashmirica.com/
    https://mirsaaeid.com/

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    mirsaaeid, hi!

    1 – big TTFB on https://www.kashmirica.com/ (~5 seconds);
    2 – extremely big TTFB on https://mirsaaeid.com/ (~23 seconds).

    The best basic think you can do is to check the PHP error log or WordPress debug and then change your current theme to any of basic WordPress themes: TwentyTwenty, TwentyNineteen etc. just to make sure it’s not a theme issue.

    I suspect it is the hosting that is giving me trouble. Can you see that as a reason?

    Or do you know of a guide that can help me debug this issue in a manner you recommend?

    mirsaaeid, hi. Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t receive a notification 🙁

    It’s one of many possible reasons.

    Or do you know of a guide that can help me debug this issue in a manner you recommend?

    For debug, first – make a full backup of your websites (files + database for each website), then try to disable all plugins and change active theme to default (TwentyTwenty, for example). Then you can check your websites again, it’s a good starting point. Plus, check the PHP memory limit for your hosting plan and you can enable the WordPress debug.
