• I have installed the wordpress blog from my cpanel – fantastico.
I was able to loin to my admin and work.

    The installed 2 plugins yesterday.
    http://structuredblogging.org/
    and
    http://www.semiologic.com/software/sem-theme/

Since the plugin install – I am not able to login to my admin area.
My webhost support who helped me install the plugin sent me an email ===
“One of the word press pluggins we installed a while back is causing the
webserver to crash, I would request you to kindly not use it as of now.”

    Can anyone help.

  • Use your ftp client to go to your wp-content/plugins directory and delete what is in there.

And ask your host (who is it ?) for more details please ?

They are not sure what is wrong. I have deleted. What do i do next?
    Thank you for your help

Your host says a plugin they helped install is crashing a whole server but they do not know what is wrong ?

Move host. To one that has a clue 🙂

In the meantime, just don’t use those two plugins – though I doubt VERY much that they are the problem. I really would look for a decent host.

    As per the hosting company:
” it was causing apache to crash on multiple occassions,It was using upto 1-2 GB of memory
One thread gone upto 1-2GB memory – this usually happens when a script goes in infinite loop and doesn’t exit
I reverted the scripts back to your original site – that was the only way”

With the built-in caching that goes with my theme, I’d be quite amazed if it uses 1 GB of mem.
