Admin Language Switcher

    Hello,

    My site have 2 languages: french (default) and english. Administration lang is in french.

    – When i edit the english version of a post, the administration lang don’t change to english.
    – When i’m on an english post and change admin lang to french, i’m not redirect to the french version of the post.

    Is there a way to do this with polylang ? (WPML work like this)

    Hi!

    Polylang is not a clone of WPML 😉

    What you call an admin language switcher is in fact an admin language *filter*. The goal is to filter the content per language in list tables.

    Editing a translation is done by clicking on the pen icon in the languages metabox.

    I already know that i ask is not a native functionnality, i just consider that’s an usefull feature from WPML.

    My original problem who make me post this subject concernes the plugin Advanced Custom Field and the relationship fields who don’t work well with Polylang. ACF search post in lang of the language filter even if the post is in another lang.

    Don’t know if the problem come from Polylang or ACF.

    It’s probably due to the fact that ACF relies on the WPML compatibility mode of Polylang. I know that there is a plugin to make Polylang and ACF work together. Did you try it?

    But this plugin don’t resolve my problem. I don’t want to filter the display of field group.

    Acf relationship field is bugged when you have the admin lang switcher in different lang of the post you edit.

    🙁

    And i use the acf pro version … 🙂
