Admin Login Does Nothing

    When I try to log into my dashboard at:

    http://theweatherpage.net/wp-login.php

    the page clears the fields and nothing happens. No error message or anything. I was able to login in the morning and when I tried again in the afternoon it did this. I changed nothing in between.

    I’ve tried:

    resetting the password

    changing my url

    editing the functions.php file

    resetting all plugins

    changing my wp-config file

    reinstalling wordpress

    …And now I’m at a loss and can’t find any more ideas on the forums or anywhere else on the internet. I’ve been locked out of my site for nearly a week now and I have no idea what to do at this point.

    Help?

    Trying your link in Firefox with a made up username/password, I received the expected “ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?” prompt. So, the page appears to be working.

    Have you tried a different browser to determine if it’s a browser issue, such as cached content?

    I swear I thought I tried that too. It works though. Figures that its something simple lol.

    Hi, I have my own issues similar to above for which I opened a thread prior to this one.. using an alternate browser / deleting cookies does not help.

    @avision –

    While I appreciate that on the surface two issues can look the same, the underlining reasons can be very different. Therefore, please don’t combine your difficulty with another user’s support thread – please start your own support thread. This will allow volunteer to assist you without involving the original poster.
