• I am having trouble getting to my wp-admin page.

    When I go to http://www.wattleaksplumbing.co.za/wp-admin, I get an “Ooops… Error 404” report.

It was working perfectly yesterday!! I have changed nothing at all and the only plugin I activated was Contact7 which I have now removed from file manager.

Please assist and explain in a simple manner as I am new to all this…

I had this error once before. First of all you should try and find any plug in that may be causing the redirect. Deactivate or delete the plug in. Since I did not find the bad plug in what I did was delete the “.htaccess” file in cPanel. Don’t know if this works for you but it worked for me. Deleting the .htaccess file created a fresh new one.

Deactivate all plug ins then activate them one by one. To identify which plug in caused the issue or you may start deactivating the most recent plug in to check since it is usually what caused errors.

If it does not work you may want to consider editing your .htaccess file in cPanel. You can also delete it to create a new defualt one. That worked for me too.
