    Hi, I screwed up..
I was editing the capabilities of a role in the Members plugin while comparing it to other roles.
One of the other roles was administrator. I accidentally edited the admin capabilities and unchecked the ‘edit roles’ cap and saved.. Now I’m locked out of the editing roles part of the plugin. Very stupid mistake, made in a hurry. What to do?

It sounds lazy, but I don’t feel like deleting the plugin and starting all over again with the 32 roles I already made and edited all the capabilities off. I don’t even know if that could work.
Is it possible to edit a database in phpMyAdmin or something? One should think it would be possible..

Hope to hear from anybody soon.
    Cheers,
    Daan

    Hi Daan,

Members plugin doesn’t have reset capabilities so the only way would be to reset the roles in the wp_user_roles option that you can find in the wp_options table in the database.

    Cheers

    Hi @caseproof,

It worked! I was able to find all the options in the wp_user_roles and I changed the right setting back. Thank you so much!
