    HI,

Following an upgrade, my admin dashboard is no longer available. However, the website is functioning fine. Also, I am able to post successfully using the iOS WordPress APP, which I do daily.

    http://www.crossfitoswestry.com/blog

Once the credentials are entered in /blog/wp-admin, I am presented with a blank screen. However if I go back to the /blog the admin controls are present but not functional. When a admin link is executed, the same blank page is shown.

I have tried manually disabling the plugins using FTP to rename the Plugins directory. This resulted in the following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_json_encode() in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage22/cr/os/sf/crossfitoswestry.com/public_html/blog/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 668

I would very much appreciate some help/advice.

    Many thanks in advance
    Rob

Try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.

Apologies for the delayed response. Replacing the files resolved the issue.
    Many thanks
    Regards
