Admin notified when authors create new posts

I have a blog with numerous authors and would like the admin to be emailed whenever someone publishes a new post. Seems pretty common, but I’ve never had the need for this before and can not find the solution.

is this built in o do you need a plugin? I only want the admin to be notified, not other subscribers.
