I may be missing it, but is there a way to have the plugin allow for test mode for administrators while being live to the general public?

In my case, I need to do some email tests that require submitting orders, but I don’t want to keep charging and refunding myself. Likewise, I can’t move it to test mode for all or I’ll be giving away free products to real customers.

Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. There isn’t an Admin Only mode at the moment, although we’ve considered adding this feature. We will likely include that in the next release.

What we currently recommend is setting the payment methods Charge Type you’re testing to Authorize instead of Capture. https://paymentplugins.com/documentation/stripe/credit-card-settings/#charge-type

You can then configure the order status option to what you need in order to trigger the email notification. https://paymentplugins.com/documentation/stripe/credit-card-settings/#order-status

Since the payment will be authorized, you can cancel it without incurring any processing fees from Stripe.
