Admin page missing buttons! Please help!

    I haven’t had access to my site in almost 3 years. I finally got it up and running. However, when I logged into my wp-admin site, I don’t see any buttons where my dashboard side panel is. There used to be a list of different buttons under “Dashboard” that said updates, posts, pages, comments, appearance, etc. But now I see nothing there. I have no way to access my posts or anything. Is it because it has been so long? Is something not up to date? I have no access to anything to make changes…

    sounds like the menu might be condensed down look to be just the icons next to those titles. look got a thin column of icons at the far left of the screen at the bottom of those icons there should be an arrow you can use to expand the menu so you see the titles again.
