Admin panel back grounds gone after upgrade

    Since I have updated to 3.8 the admin dashboard backgrounds have vanished. I am only seeing border outlines round the menu and the panels. I have tried deactivating all the plugins to see if any of them were causing an issue but that didn’t work. I tried changing theme but didn’t work either. Is there any reason why this would happen?

    – If deactivatig plugins and changing theme failed to resolve the issue, try manually re-uploading all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first!
    – Always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case.
