• OK, I have an issue that I think is relatively easy to solve, but I haven’t been able to find the answer yet. I might just be an idiot.

    I have a wordpress.com account and site (www.owolfe.wordpress.com).

I also bought the domain http://www.oliverwolfe.net and used it as the primary domain for the above-mentioned blog.

Today, I decided to set up a JustHost webhosting account so that I could install WordPress(.org) and create a better photo blog.

While setting it up, I transferred http://www.oliverwolfe.net into JustHost’s management by following JustHost’s instructions.

I then used JustHost to install WordPress.

They told me that the website to access my Admin Panel for WordPress(.org) is http://oliverwolfe.net/wp-admin/

But when I go to that site, it directs me to my WordPress.com Admin Panel, which doesn’t allow me any of the customization options that I want.

Am I an idiot? What should I do to figure this out?

  • you have to edit urls in your new database tab Options, site url, home url, and upload path.
    Access it from phpMyadmin.
