Admin Panel Missing Can't make new Blog Posts

    About three weeks ago something strange happened to my WP site. I haven’t been able to login to my admin panel or create new blog posts. However, I have been able to upload html files to the external links and update them accordingly.

    The tech guy that hosts my site had a quick look and mentioned something about a security plugin that was doing a redirect and therefore wasn’t allowing an admin sign in. To be honest, I don’t know what this means or even where to start to fix this. Has anybody run into this problem before?

    Delete your .htaccess file from your server. Then login to the dashboard, go to settings , permalinks click save changes. This will create a new .htaccess file. That should take care of your problem. Now look in your plugins for this security plugin and disable it.
