    I’m trying to add your plugin to this site. I install and click ‘Get started’ it as to continue with my fb account, when I click continue I get ‘Admin Permission required’ and have to contact the Business Manager to gain access. The Business Manager named has nothing to do with this site, but I was a collaborator on her woocommerce account – its all very weird.

    Any ideas what’s going on, thanks

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Kindly be informed that in order to connect your store to your Facebook Shop, you need to be added as an admin to business manager and related assets.

    This should be possible by having them add you into their business manager account via https://business.facebook.com/settings/people/ and assigning you all assets to manage. This should then allow you to run through the new connection process which will create a system user the plugin uses to manage the same assets too.

    If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    FB Log – can’t download or copy and paste it – can send screenshot.

    Theproblem is that the facebook account it says is the admin is a completely different person – how have they linked the website/plugin to their account?

    Hi there!

    Typically, the error Admin Permission Required is shown when you don’t have administrative access to the Facebook Business Manager connected to the page.

    Please have the Business Manager admin add you as admin in the Business Manager. If it’s actually only yourself, you can login to Business Manager and then add yourself (your Facebook Profile) as an admin for the Business Manager.

    However, if you have full access to the business manager account and the issue persists, then it’ll appear the connection is being initiated to an account you don’t have access on, you can try to reset your business ID and try to connect again, here are the steps:

    1. Go to https://nibblenq.com/wp-admin/options.php
    2. Search for wc_facebook_external_business_id
    3. Update the field to include only supported characters and save changes. Best practice: store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q ← 13-digit random string
    4. Go back to WooCommerce > Facebook and click “Get Started” again and you should be able to connect to Facebook.
