admin plugin page problems

    I recently moved my hosting services to a new host, transfered multiple wp blogs, all blogs are up and running with what seemed as no problems. But there is one problem, on the admin plugin page, the plugin code is displayed in the “plugin” “description” and “version” columns. The plugins still function as normal, they are just displaying tons of code on the admin page. I have deactivated them, no luck. I deinstalled them, the reinstalled them, no luck.

    Any suggestions.

    I am finding that some of the plugins just need to be updated. By what I cannot figure out is why this occured just because we switched servers.

    Also, after this error showed up I went through and upgraded all our wp installs from 2.2 to 2.3, problem still exists. But I am able to fix a few by upgrading the plugins. Is there difference in plugin use/managment between 2.2 and 2.3?

    I’m going out on a limb here, but did your transfer your site between Windows and Unix hosts? Perhaps you have a problem with the end of line characters. Just a wild guess.

    It was a unix to unix move. Some of the plugins worked displayed in the admin page as they should, the rest displayed as previously described. Of the ones that were not displaying correctly I upgraded where possible, and the others, I went through and reloaded from local copies. Everything seems to be working now. Still perplexed as to why this happened. Guessing extra characters were added during the move.
