    Hello

Does the plugin require Global Admin rights in Microsoft 365 to use the plugin and send out e-mails? And does it also require a user to have a mailbox license?

    Hello @dsflconsult,

Thank you for reaching out to us, and I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I appreciate your patience!

To answer your questions regarding the Microsoft 365 integration with FluentSMTP:

No, the plugin does not require Global Admin rights in your Microsoft 365 environment to function correctly. To set up the connection, we primarily require the Mail.Send and User.Read API permissions.

Regarding your question about the mailbox license, this can vary depending on your specific account type and configuration. But generally, a mailbox is required to send emails. For Alias, the case becomes different. I would recommend proceeding with the configuration in the plugin settings to see how it performs with your current setup.

Please go ahead and try to configure it, and if you run into any specific issues or errors during the process, please let us know! We are here to help and will be happy to look into it further if you get stuck.
