Admin sidebar missing most tabs

Admin sidebar only shows tabs for dashboard, posts, comments, profile, and tools. 2017 child theme. Site is working normally and all admin functions were available at last edit about 4 months ago. I need to make some changes but there is no appearance tab, pages tab, etc. – only shows those listed above so I can’t disable plug-ins, change themes, etc. How do I get all the admin tabs back? I’m really stuck as is. Thanks in advance!
