I think this is a totally WooCommerce/Wordpress problem related. Some people have already reported it to WooCommerce or on the forum without any solution yet. We’ve plan to work on that in a future version.
Before that, I would recommend you to test out this plugins:

I haven’t tested it but it seems linked to your problem.

OK I don’t know any WordPress speedup plugin for this problem. I think the best would be to ask that to the WooCommerce team, they maybe have a solution?

I speak with @mike but they dont an idea. I think it is wordpress problem because I read same problem on forums wordpress slow categories , too…
And yet no solution from woocommerce and I asked also woocommerce support but they said write wordpress forums but anybody do not know about that. Any I dont see any solution in forums.
