Admin Users cannot post/edit

    I have checked every setting everywhere and I cannot figure this out. As an admin, I cannot participate in the forum I have set up. I can’t add a post, reply or anything.

    I am so confused. It works for the other users but not for admins. I have checked all the user roles, I’ve installed the User Role Editor to just double check is there is something unchecked but everything is checked.

    What am I missing?!

    We are using ForumWP.
    We also have the following related plugins installed:
    Ultimate member – ForumWP
    Ultimate member – reCAPTCHA
    Ultimate member – user photos`

    Do you also have Ultimate member – ForumWp integration plugin installed on your site?

    We do not have that one installed.

    Hello @jackiezimmerman

    If you are using both Ultimate member and ForumWp, We recommend you install the integration plugin so that both of the plugins work properly.

    Once you install that plugin, you can edit the admin user role from an ultimate member and you will have new setting options like in this screenshot.

    You can also check for the forum permissions like in this screenshot.

    Ok I now have this installed, but I’m still having the same problem. Admins who are logged in, cannot participate in the forum on the front end.

    Please navigate to wp-admin > ultimate member > user roles > administrator and check if creating topic and creating replies is disabled for the role. https://prnt.sc/qB6lKDSmBFfe

    I also suggest you to check for UM permissions for forum like in this screenshot.

    Unfortunately i am facing the same issue.
    I installed both ForumWP and the Ultimate member plugin integration plugins. Permission settings have been configured on the UM user role level and the within the forum level, also checked if there are any page restrictions.
    Any ideas, tips? 🙂
    Later i additionally installed User Profile Editor Plugin but it did not help.
