• Have some webgraphics-people which should have access to my themes for changing pictures and graphics and so.
I would like to give them access to the css files as well, but NO access to functions.php and and other core files in my themes.

Sorry, if this is a stupid questions, but I cannot figure out, how to do it – if possible at all!

    Any suggestions ?

  • If they need to add images to your theme’s template file and adjust the theme’s CSS, they will need full access to all theme files. You cannot lock them out of specific files.

Hi esmi, Thanks for your reply!
Just thought there was some solution to give access to some files in my themes and block some others…

Sorry – no. It’s just not possible.

Well, that’s must be a upcoming request for the developer team. I would like and need this feature

I seriously doubt that it will be forthcoming in the near future. If you do not trust your contractors with access to your theme files, then you should really be uploading the files etc yourself.

Thanks for your “nice” comment, but if we had the time to do it all by ourselves, we wouldn´t have to hire any contrators.
