I changed the name of the Admin usergroup to Management and even though all the permissions say I have full access, the forum is acting like I am a regular user with no admin access. I cannot moderate anything. I can access the WordPress Admin and edit the forum, but I have no access to any of the moderation controls as the Administrator.

Steps I have taken to test and attempt to fix:

    1. I have attempted to change the name of the usergroup back to Admin.
    2. I have re-syncronized the usergroups with WordPress users.
    3. I have verified that the Admin usergroup has full access, and all of the check marks are checked.
    4. I have checked that a user with moderator usergroup can access the moderator controls, but the administrator usergroup cannot use moderator controls.
    5. I even yelled at it. That didn’t work either.

How do I get the forum moderator controls to work for the admin users?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You just need to check if you’re still admin after user synchronization.
In Dashboard please navigate to Users > Your Profile admin page, scroll down and find wpForo Usergroup option and make sure it’s selected Admin/Manager.
Then navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard and click on these buttons:

    1. [Delete User Cache]
    2. [Delete All Caches]

    Thank you for the response.

I followed the steps you provided, but the Administrator still does not have moderator controls. Any other suggestions?

There is no other ways. User must have Administrator role and Admin Usergroup. In this case all works fine. You’ve done something wrong for sure. Please register and open support topic in wpForo Community for deeper support:

Does it have to be “Admin” user group? I changed the name of “Admin” to “Management” but with the same permissions.
