We currently have Entry Creator, All Logged Users and Everyone

Could we have an additional ones linked to the WordPress roles?

I have a scenario whereby there will be an office type person maintaining a site. I do not want this person to have full admin rights. If we could link to wordpress roles, this persion could maintain listing without seeing any of the wordpress back-end.

    Make sense?

Sure does! I have added two custom capability checks to the plugin.

These two capabilities that can be used to allow users to edit and delete entries in the list. These are stickylist_edit_entries and stickylist_delete_entries. Users/roles with these capabilities will be able to edit/delete entries in the list regardless of the setting in the “Show entries in list to” -dropdown.

Add the custom capabilities to a user/role and then grab the new version (1.2.3) of Sticky List. Let me know if it works for you.

Have you been able to test this out? I would like to mark this topic as resolved.
