    Hi @extendwings, would you be interested in allowing me to adopt this plugin?

    My reasons are two fold:

    • it would be helpful to provide an up-to-date version of the images to site owners using the plugin
    • Due to the way the ww.wp.xz.cn CDN works, maintaining this plugin could prove helpful during updates of the Twemoji Library to avoid breaking caches. (This was most recently done in Core ticket #63064
