I read on your website that you offer a free verification of the implementation of advertisements on your website. If it is up to date, I will gladly use it 🙂 It’s about the dompolski.uk website. Are your ads displaying correctly? And should anything be changed to improve financial results?

Thank you in advance and best regards!

  • Hi pagor28,

I was looking at your website, and I would fix one thing.

You have inserted the auto ads code twice. This creates an error in the browser console. This issue doesn’t cause any problems with your ads and has a minimal negative effect on your website load time. You can fix it relatively easily by removing one of the two entries. Here you can find a tutorial with more information.

Your Ads.txt file is correct and available.

It’s good that you are using specific AdSense ad units so that you can analyze their performance in the reports. I would look closely at this data and place ads that are performing poorly in other places. With Advanced Ads Pro, you can also test placements against each other.

The banner above the header is only visible for a short time and would be a candidate for such optimization. Furthermore, I would try more sticky placements and test what effect it has if you fix the last sidebar widget as well, for example, with the free Fixed Widget plugin.

By the way, I notice that you are using Advanced Ads Pro on your website, but you haven’t activated your license yet. You should definitely do that so you can receive all the updates.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

Ok, I will try to do everything. Just tried to fix double auto-ads code – can You please check if it is now okay?

And two more questions, if You can help me… 🙂

    1. I tried to add stick ad at the bottom with adsense code – to have it like anchor ad. But I got message in the plugin that it is against Google policy. So I cannot add this type of ad with AdSense code?

    2. I have seen that sometimes there are no ads shown inside my posts or just some of them. What could be the problem?

    3. I have problem with Ad.style ads implemented with Yours plugin. There is now widget shown, just message “native advertising” – both in mobile and desktop version. I am sure that code is okay because it tried to add it with another plugin and it was showing fine. Can You please check it for me?

Thanks again and all the best!

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

The warning about the multiple injections of the Auto Ads code is still showing up in my browser console. You inject the code with Advanced Ads and with Site Kit.

Regarding your additional questions, I kindly ask you to create a new thread for each question next time. Otherwise, it will be too confusing here.

    Short answers to your questions:

    1. Google AdSense now allows the use of ads in sticky positions. You see this message because you are using an outdated version of the Sticky Ads add-on. I recommend updating the add-on.

    2. I’m guessing you are referring to AdSense. Provided the ad codes are inserted, that’s because of AdSense. If few advertisers are bidding on the appropriate keywords for your content, I would continue to test reducing the number of ads on such pages.

We have compiled a list of possible reasons for an ad not appearing on this page.

    3. I suspect it’s because of the ad code because when I reload the same page repeatedly, I see both ads and the link text you cited that points to the ad network itself. I assume this is some fallback from that network.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
